Technology is an essential component of our unique eCommerce site that allows customers to design and order custom printed apparel for groups and events. Each and every CustomInk customer interacts with our design lab and related eCommerce technology, so that technology must be rock solid, fast, and provide a great experience for customers.
This role is unique as it is part of a small team that has a very large impact on the business. The team typically has several projects in development and responds quickly to any bugs discovered on the site. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are moving forward on schedule, and our processes allow us to quickly respond to the needs of the business.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical skills, agile development expertise, and strong team development/relationship skills including:
•Demonstrated experience in successfully leading software development teams in Agile development environments, with a deep understanding of how to build the right processes for different environments.
•Production knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Java web applications.
•Experience as a manager or engineer with large scale, highly available, consumer focused web sites.
•Strong technical foundation including a BS in Computer Science or related field with deep experience in web applications development and related frameworks
•Experience development and/or managing large scale AJAX, Flash/Flex applications
•Proven track record for providing a rewarding, challenging and satisfying environment for your team is a plus
