Job Summary:
Experience and technical skills necessary to participate in the development and maintenance of a Metastorm BPM system.
Identifies problems and business opportunities.
Works within the scope of the systems development tasks.
Converts requirements and models from analysis, specifications and business needs into technical specifications.
Uses the knowledge and experience from past technical environments and communication skills to design and document a
system that will meet client requirements, technical standards, and future opportunities.
Documents and implements test plans that address system design requirements, user test data, and cases of appropriate size
and scope.
Increases client confidence by proactively addressing production support issues and providing recommendations for
performance/process improvement.
Essential Functions:
Participate in troubleshooting of Metastorm BPM platform and application problems
Provide
and participate in systems architecture design meetings to represent
and anticipate support considerations and implications
Provide ownership and responsibility for BPM user password and role change tasks
Perform server log file(s) review and assessments on a regular basis and provide status reports on same to BPMS management
Identify and implement solutions, as required, based on BPM platform and application monitoring analysis and results
Interact
with clients, system end users, and various IT personnel to support the
development of new and existing Metastorm workflow
Provide technical guidance in support of the BPM Development Center
Minimal Qualifications:
Undergraduate
degree required in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
with an information science focus required.
A minimum of 5 years is
required in information technology analysis, functional and system
documentation, programming and development, application support and
troubleshooting
Highly developed oral and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to independently develop, document and troubleshoot problems and incidents of moderate to high complexity
Desired Experience:
Proficient in MS .Net development and Oracle (SQL server) SQL Technologies
Proficient in C#, HTML, XML
Proficient MS Server and Intel Server technologies
Metastorm*s jscript.net implementations
Visual Studio for custom interfaces, web services, and web service wrappers.
