JOB SUMMARY
This position will serve as a technical expert in the areas of development and workflow across all SAP modules that are implemented. The incumbent will work closely with the SAP Support team and the Computer System Validation group to implement new functionality or enhancements following the software development lifecycle as well as design and create workflows as required. Additionally, they will analyze, implement and support new technologies as they become relevant to the business requirements. This position will require participation in larger projects and some project management as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop Workflows within but not limited to the QM/DMS modules
Utilize ABAP programming language, Reports development, ALV Grid and Screen painter/Dialog programming to meet business requirements
Support data migration requirements using LSMW and BDC tools as required.
Design, build and support ALE processes including IDOCs, XML, XI interface and RFC connections.
Experience in HR module desired
Experience with LSO and portal
Develop user requirements using BAPIs, User exits, BADIs, Smart forms/SAP Scripts.
Assist in Enterprise portal configuration, IViews, Web DynPros.
Gather user requirements, translate them to technical design documents, develop code, test and implement solutions to meet the requirements.
Introduce new technologies where appropriate to create efficiencies and to keep in line with industry standards.
Prepare detailed documentation including but not limited to user requirements, functional specifications, design specification and test documents.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited four-year college or university with degree in a related field.
5+ years of ABAP development experience on SAP R/3 4.6C or higher
Demonstrate outstanding customer support, oral and written communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding and knowledge of SAP modules (PM, QM, DMS, HR, FI/CO).
Knowledge of Solution Manager and Business Intelligence is preferred.
