A Thompson Technologies client has an immediate need for strong Lead
Business Analyst with strong UML skills in Atlanta, GA. The right
candidate for this role will be a very Senior Business Analyst who has
had experience as a Team Lead and who has strong experience developing
use cases and working with class diagrams, UML, and RUP methodology
(iterative/waterfall)
Additional Skills Include:
Experience leading JAD or design sessions Experience developing Use Cases and Class Diagrams Strong experience with RUP methodology Experience as a Lead Business Analyst leading teams of 2-4 people minimum Must possess strong leadership capabilities and have the ability to lead sub-teams, and coach more junior BAs. Experience
and implementing object oriented principles. High comfort level working
with XML. - Setup, execution and ability to analyze results of XML Basic understanding of UNIX commands DB2
mainframe skills, experience writing SPUFI and using Platinum.
Understanding of distributed type systems. Data warehouse, Data store,
or similar data repository experience involving data integration. Direct
interaction with application data in absence of a user interface,
preferably ability to query and interpret data. Strong understanding of
relational database concepts. Able to work with business stakeholders to drive requirements gathering process Works
with business stakeholders and application team to determine
appropriate project scope. Able to develop a basic understanding of an
application data models. Strong understanding of data interfaces and basic ETL concepts Participates in and understands process of translating business requirements into solution design. Serve as functionality SME during testing cycles, including assisting with defining test scenarios/cases Demonstrated
ability to quickly learn new systems. Effectively communicates with
business stakeholders, technical and functional team members to
successfully drive project. Strong documentation skills Some experience working with customer information system. Experience
in requirements gathering and definition with vendor package solutions
use case definition, process flow definition requirements traceability
for testing This is a 3-6 month contract to hire opportunity and
local Atlanta candidates are strongly preferred as an in person
interview will be required.
