This is for a large automotive manufacturing company in the Torrance, CA area. We are looking for a Senior .NET Web Developer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client has multiple web based portals which support its Field Staff and supporting Management.
We
are seeking an experienced .Net "developer" to participate in the
production support, enhancementand implementation of these web based
portals
The candidate will work directly with the Project
Leader and Systems Analyst. Must be able to multitask and be willing to
meet project deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of system documentation
- Development and testing of Web applications from design specification
- Coordinating implementation activities
- System debugging and solving complex technical issues
Requirements:
1)
Candidate must have 3+ years experience in web development. Visual
Studio .Net - Primary development requirement is ASP.Net and
Javascript. C# experience is also desired.
2) Experience should include development of web applications (pages) and web services
3) Experience should also include use of XML, HTML nd CSS style sheets.
4)
Candidate must have 3+ years experience with relational databases.
Microsoft SQL Server and DB2 experience in a .net environment.
5) This position requires good verbal & written skills.
6) Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience with Access, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
7) Candidate must be a resourceful, proactive, detail oriented, self-starter; able to work alone & as a team player in
Additional areas where experience is a desired:
5) Experience working with reverse-proxy technology to surface .NET apps.
6) Experience integrating with Portal technologies (e.g. Vignette, WebSphere).
7) Experience working with SSO techniques (e.g. SAML).
COMPENSATION/COMMENTS:
$47
- $53 p/hr. (DOE) - plus APR Medical/Dental Benefits package, 401k
plan, etc.. - most benefits available shortly into this contract (30+
days - starting with the 1st of the following month of the start date).
