Atlas Systems currently has a 6-12 month Contract .NET Opening with a Major Financial Company located in DowntownNYC.
Role
Experienced
C# GUI Developer developing desktop based front ends with real time
messaging, practical application in Fixed Income Derivatives
instruments charts. Delivery is via Excel / VBA and extensive
experience in that is also required.
Responsibilities
-The
candidate will work directly with a trading desk in delivering charts
and charting solutions to front office trading desks. Underlying data
comes from trading and analytics applications. An understanding of
these will help
-Designing and building desktop applications, which will be intensively used by the trading desk, using C# in WinForms/WPF.
-Delivery
via Excel based interfaces, allowing the traders to build their own
charts, etc with bespoke data, as and when required.
-Ability to work directly with traders and handle the pressures of a desk facing role are important.
Preferred Experience/Profile
-Strong
Development skills demonstrated through a history of delivering
significant gui applications used daily by a trading business
-Previous experience in building charting for financial trading, sales and research will matter.
-Excel /VBA experience required.
Skills
-MUST HAVE FINANCIAL TRADING EXPERIENCE
-Microsoft Front End Development - C#, .NET Framework, WPF, WinForms,
-Design Patterns, vendor controls (devexpress, infragistics etc)
- Familiarity in building gui using frameworks like CAB, Prism
-Messaging - Tibco, Rendezvous or equivalent.
