Details are as follows:
Title : ETL Developer
Requirement : ETL. SSIS, SQL server, Property Casualty (home/auto insurance) or Reinsurance
Location : Farmington, CT
Rate : $55/hour on W2 or $60/Hour on 1099
Duration : 6 months +
Required : Telephonic
Description: 3-6 month contract with possibility to convert.
Phone interview can be set for this Friday.
Job Summary
The candidate will be part of a team integrating Procede and SunGL downstream of an existing corporate Data Warehouse.
Job Duties
- Use SSIS to build ETL routines bridging an existing Enterprise Data Warehouse to Procede or SunGL
- Building reconciliation and audit routines between the Enterprise Data Warehouse and downstream system
- Follow best practices of the current corporate ETL framework
Job Requirements
- University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years ETL experience, real world experience with SSIS
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with SQL server
- Extensive knowledge and experience using concepts including but not limited to
o Stored Procedures/TSQL
o Query Performance Tuning
- Practical integration experience with multi-currency accounting systems
- Experience with P&C Insurance/Reinsurance.
- Knowledge of Procede or SunGL a plus
- Ability to analyze and write business and technical specifications
- Possess a systematic, disciplined and analytical; approach to problem solving
- Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative and work with little supervision
