Job Title: SYSTEMS ENGINEER 2
Location: Richardson, TX 75082
Duration: 6 months
Hrs/Wk: 40
Compensation: $4148/hr (DOE)

Job Description:
- Individual contributor working under direction of technical leadership with some expected self direction.
- Improve depth of product domain knowledge.
-
Capture requirements, analyze, document and conduct
verification/validation testing for systems, products or sub-systems of
moderate complexity under guidance of a more-senior engineer.
- Understand and utilize internal processes and tools for the development of systems.
- Decisions may have minor impact on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Act as a mentor to more-junior engineers in processes and tools.
- Contribute to engineering estimates on product or sub-system designs.
Qualifications (Required):
The selected candidate must have the following demonstrated experience and skills:
1. DEGREE IN APPLICABLE ENGINEERING OR A SCIENCE DEGREE (physics, biology, etc)
2. Systems engineering processes and methodologies
3. Systems requirement analysis and decomposition experience
4. Strong technical written and verbal communication skills
5. Experience using Telelogic DOORS
6. Experience in one or more communication areas (wireless, HF, UHF, etc.)
7. Experience working with multiple organizations and domains to gather data required for requirements analysis and design
8. Understanding of hardware, software, 'ilities' to facilitate the accurate decomposition of requirements
9. Proven ability to come up to speed rapidly in new environments
10.Experience working in a Department of Defense environment
11.Must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
12.Must be a U.S. Citizen
If
