This
is for a large automotive manufacturing company in the Torrance, CA
area. We are looking for a OO .Net Designer/Sr. Developer.
Description
The role of the members on the project team is to help design and implement the new system per specifications.
- Should possess project management and organization skills to gain consensus among team members.
- Excellent communication skills required; both verbal and written to a technical and business audience.
- Strong customer orientation is required.
- Should be results oriented. High quality, speed, reliability and dependability a must.
- Must be able to work in a dynamically changing environment, as part of a team, and with minimal direction.
- Automobile Sales & Distribution knowledge will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Part of Application Development team providing object oriented design
and developing UI components, Service Components and Database Queries.
Work with the Business Analyst to understand Requirements and help the
technical team with delivery of a fully tested .Net Application.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Required - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or have equivalent experience.
2. Required - Strong Interpersonal Skills ability to work with people with a variety of skillsets.
3. Required - 7+ years of general IT experience.
4. Required - 5+ years in a OO designer and senior developer role delivering .Net based systems.
5. Required - Experience with .Net 3.5 (Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Communication Framework).
6. Required - Experience with ASP.Net and ASP.Net AJAX.
7. Required - Experience with T-SQL and SQL Server 2005/2008.
8.
Required - Doing code build and release process under source control
systems (Clear Case, VSS, CVS, Subversion, etc.). and development of
build and release process using .Net scripts.
9. Required -
Experience with TDD (test driven development), Unit Testing,
Integration Testing and System Testing. abilities, including automated
testing techniques using NUnit, etc.
10. Required - Experience
developing AOP (aspect-oriented programming) and IoC (inversion of
control) based systems using Spring.NET or Spring.
11.
Required - Experience developing ORM (object-relational mapping) based
data access using NHibernate, Fluent NHibernate, or Hibernate.
12. Preferred - Experience developing rules based systems using ILOG.
Knowledge:
13. Required - Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills.
14. Preferred - Strong knowledge of WCF Web services, SOAP, WSDL, and XML.
15. Required - Strong knowledge of UML.
16. Required - Strong knowledge of AOP and ORM concepts.
17. Required - Excellent understanding of MS architecture patterns and OO design patterns.
18. Preferred - Strong knowledge of workflow based systems using WF.
19. Preferred - Experience with Mercury Load Runner, Mercury Quick Test Pro, Mercury Quality Center.
20. Preferred - Knowledge of Rules Engine implementation (ILOG for .Net).
21. Preferred - Development of composite applications (esp reporting applications with a existing transactional UI).
22. Preferred - Strong knowledge of service oriented architecture.
23. Required - Knowledge of security solutions in .NET platform.
24. Preferred - Good knowledge of Windows SharePoint Services.
25.
Preferred - Experience with integrating Portal technologies, Enterprise
Application Integration Solutions, Identity Management Solutions, etc.
26.
Must have strong verbal and written skills with ability to communicate
with IS and business management regarding status of specific projects.
27. Automotive industry experience is always preferred, but not required.
28.

COMPENSATION/COMMENTS:
$57-$61
/per hour (DOE) - plus APR Medical/Dental Benefits package, 401k plan,
etc.. - most benefits available shortly into this contract (30+ days -
starting with the 1st of the following month of the start date).
