Description

BusinessResiliency Analyst is responsible for the coordination and execution of theBusiness Continuity and Incident Response programs, to ensure that criticalbusiness functions are identified, prioritized, and that people and processesare in place and exercised to ensure successful continuation of criticalbusiness activities in the event of a disruption. Ensures the performance ofall duties in accordance with company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. stateand federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinateenterprise-wide Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process to ensure that:

a. Businessimpact is being looked at through the appropriate criteria at each entity

b. Outputsare consistent and can be consolidated and rolled up into an Enterprise BIA

c. BIAis reviewed and updated

2. Conductbusiness resiliency education and training across HTLF and its affiliates

3. Creategovernance structure for Enterprise Business Continuity Planning

a. Ensurethat BCP required exhibits are updated, and appropriate, for HTLF strategy andregulatory requirements

b. Coordinatevendor business resiliency due diligence activities

4. AssistHTLF and member banks with BCP exercise activities, including, but not limitedto:

a. Settingobjectives, creating scenarios, conducing exercises

b. Reportingto management on exercise results

c. Followingup on action items that are identified through exercises

5. AssistHTLF with Disaster Recovery (DR) planningactivities, to include:

a. EnsuringDR strategies and BIA are aligned

b. Participatingin DR exercises, creating management reports on exercise results

c. Followingup on action items that are identified by exercise activities

6. FacilitateInformation Security Response across HTLF and affiliates, including, but notlimited to:

a. Creating,reviewing, updated incident response plan documentation

b. Facilitateinformation security incident response exercises, both IT and non-IT events, toensure individuals with incident response responsibilities are a) aware oftheir roles, b) familiar with the process, c) the documentation is up-to-dateand useable, and c) exercises meet regulatory requirements

c. AssistingIncident Lead during declared events

7. MatureBCP and Incident Response programs to include:

a. Clearlydefined objectives and reporting

b. Continuousprogression in exercise complexity from tabletop walkthrough, to advancedtabletop, to functional exercises

c. Managementengagement in, and all-employee understanding of, their roles during a disasteror incident


REQUIRED SKILLS& EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’sDegree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent workexperience required.

  2. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in thebusiness continuity, information security, or related fields

  3. Criticalthinking skills, the ability to exercise independent judgment

  4. Stronganalytical, organizational, and decision making skills

  5. Strongverbal/written communications

  6. Mustbe able to effectively and efficiently interface and coordinate work withbusiness partners in remote locations

  7. Strongadministrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managingresources to achieve target dates
