Requisition ID 143893BR Date updated 07/11/2019 Principal Systems Engineer: Production Test Lead Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Principal Systems Engineer: Production Test Lead to join the Radar Systems Validation, Test and Analysis team in McKinney, TX. The Production Test Lead will be a member of a highly visible team of engineers supporting system engineering, validation, and test expertise to the radar, sensor and ship systems programs. The Production Test Lead ensures the delivered products function as designed. This includes developing and implementing test methodologies for these products as well as supporting the build and test efforts within a factory environment. The delivered products utilize digital, analog, and RF building blocks which interface with each other and the outside world through firmware and software. The Production Test Lead needs an understanding of these interfaces. The Production Test Lead will perform technically challenging assignments which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our war fighters. The ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance is required. Required Skills: •8+ years of systems engineering and/or integration and test experience •Prior experience leading the development and sustainment of test systems applications from requirements to release •Demonstrated ability to perform troubleshooting and failure diagnosis of deliverable hardware and process issues with directly-relevant experience •Demonstrated successful participation on multi-disciplinary engineering teams with the ability to lead small engineering teams •Strong technical writing and formal presentation experience This position will require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
