deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an experienced SETA Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
deciBel Research is seeking a Software Engineer that will support the government Product Office Software Lead with software SETA support to help manage one of the products development activities. This includes the development and tracking of software plans, managing software issues and system software Integration, and support the required milestone A, B and C documentation.
The Software SETA Support will support one of the products by leading software acquisition, support CDRLs review and document comments and support System & Software Requirement Reviews and Software Functional Review. Will also ensure software requirements traceability to system requirements, attend software code review and test events, support software integration planning, and support software architecture analysis. Will also ensure software processes and procedures are developed, implemented and followed by the contractor, support IPTs and Workgroup meetings and support software and system qualification/verification testing.
Education Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is desired.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of applicable experience.
Special Skills Desired:
Experience with product software development.
Applicant selected must possess an active security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Minimal travel may be required.
